PSA Ideas

- A PSA idea that I could do would be about freedom of speech.

- We are currently working on a video to do this PSA announcement. However if it were announced in a different media the PSA would be presented differently. If it was in print you wouldn't want long phrases but more bold short statements that portray what you want to say. Also the still images would need to have impact because a picture is worth a thousand words. If it were done in radio media there would be no images for the audience, so every word has to stand out. Using colorful imagery to capture the audience and make them feel what you feel is ideal.

- Going back to the media of video, if you change the audience the way the video is presented needs to change too. You have to consider the age of people you are working with and what appeals to them. You aren't going to do something too complicated if it's to kids, while you still need it to be informational and impactful. A good idea is look at other PSA announcements that goes to the audience of your target and see how they presented their video.

Audio Edits

For this assignment we were to edit two recordings.
In the interview there was a telelphone ringing and a high pitch noise. I had to physically delete the telephone ringing and the high pitch noise. This enabled the sound to be gone, but the voices to stay because it was a horizontal noise. For my personal recording which is labeled Natalia, I talked about myself while one of my friends clapped three times in the background. I had a harder time getting the clapping out of the audio for this set. I used the paint brush healing tool, and while the lines of the clapping were gone there was still a muffled sound of the clapping. I continued to use the healing tool, but it did not work. I could not delete the area entirely because then it would delete my voice.

Nicki Minaj Grammy Meme

Nick Minaj Grammy Memes

For class we were to take a celebrity and make a meme out of them.
During the Grammy's Nicki seemed to be mad about something and her reactions to the paparazzi were priceless. I figured that she would be the perfect candidate to become a new internet meme. And of course I couldn't just do one meme, Nicki's face is too perfect for only one haha.

Ideas

Brochure Color Scheme and Fonts

Most people for this assignment, being that it is about the schools passport system, would choose purple. However, I have always been a fan of more natural colors. Purple is indeed seen in nature, but blues and greens have calming effects which I find comforting. Also this color scheme flows nicely together which makes it pleasing to the eye. Which is also very important because you want your brochure to stand out so people will read it. Standout doesn't always mean wacky colors, but pleasing color combinations too. The ocean is what really inspired this color combination as well, calming, relaxing, but intriguing as well to look at. I plan to add those elements to my brochure to make it a work of art. I think the fonts flow nicely with the colors as well. The fancy font has almost a wave like motion, while the normal font ties it together nicely.

Adjustment Layers

Here we have an image of a girl laying in the grass that needs to be edited. Now our goal in photoshop is to make this look better by using Adjustment Layers.

First we used the Curves adjustment layer and clicked the auto button to Enhance Per Channel Contrast and Snap Neutral Midtones. Slowly we can see the color and depth come back into the image.

Next, on top of the curves layer, we added a Levels adjustment layer. What we did with this layer is take the mid tones and made them little darker. Now we are getting some of our color back.

Finally, on top of the curves and levels layer, we added a vibrance layer to the image. This gives all the colors richness and brightness in the image. It's up to you, the editor, to decide how much vibrance you add to the image. Just make sure you don't go overboard or the picture will look fake.

Differences between JPEG, PNG, and GIF

When saved as a JPEG, the amount of pixels get reduces and the quality of the image goes down. The more times the image is saved as a JPEG the more the pixels get reduces and the image because blurry.
Where as with a PNG file, all the pixels are saved which makes the quality of the photo increase. This is important when saving an important photo, because you want your image to be as high quality as possible. This creates the image to be a bigger file on your computer, but a better picture.

When saved as a GIF, the image changes into a formate that can be animated.

Mega Lucario

" Rule of Thirds "

Well you see, the main reason I am posting these pictures is because it’s a grade for a class. At least it was something I enjoyed to do, taking pictures that is. I bought some Pokemon cards awhile back and they came with a Mega Lucario action figure who is now currently sitting at my desk. Being that he isn’t your everyday inanimate object I decided he would be a cool subject to photograph. With an interesting pose and nice color combination he can capture a persons eyes. Using the rule of thirds I made a 10 year olds everyday object into a piece which showed action and even emotion if you look closely enough.

Who I am

Let’s start off with where I was born, which was a small town called Zalau on the mountains of Transylvania in Romania. There I was adopted and moved to an island off the coast of New Hampshire and eventually moved to Florida. I picked up many sports and acquired a taste for art. Currently I am a Video Game Design Major and hoping to move out to the LA area. I am all about positivity and living life with good vibes (hence the blog name). I think it is important for people to be who they are. Life is too short to not live and grow into the person that God created you to be.
